The Collector's Lair is the third level of The Wilderness, and the penultimate level in the Story mode of LittleBigPlanet.
Overview[]
This level depicts Sackboy's infiltration of The Collector's prison and saving all his friends. You can obtain just about every character in the game as a prize to use in your levels by rescuing them.
Walkthrough[]
At the start you will notice there is a platform to the right of you. Stick the tree sticker on the Sticker Switch and the wall will blow up, revealing two extra Prize Bubbles.

Beginning[]
Grab onto one of the sponges and you will go downwards. You will need to move left and right to dodge obstacles. Don't let go until you hit the bottom. Free the bear and his family, and use the key you receive to open the door. The next characters that you should release are Little Xim, Big Xam, and Don Lu's Dog. There are also two materials you can get. Next, jump across the shifting platforms, but don't forget to rescue King Croc, Wobbly Ape and Zola.
Freeing the Creator Curators and The Non-Creator Curators[]
Each Creator Curator and almost every side character is stuck, and you will need to free them. If you don't free a character, you cannot win them as a prize. You will overcome some obstacles during your rescue mission. Make sure you free the people you need for your story levels, too. The last Creator Curators you free are The King and The Queen; once you do so, they will give you a ride to the end of the level, where you can collect the Prize Bubbles of all the characters you freed.
4 Player Challenge[]
If you have 4 players, don't forget the 4 player challenge. It is really simple; all the players have to do is stand on a button until the player on top is at the top and can reach the Prize Bubbles, one of which is the Audio Object, Rainbow Warrior, along with costume pieces and other prizes. Through a cheat, it is also possible to do this with only 3 players.

- There are several characters that are not freed in this level, including Dumpty, Sheriff Zapata, The Evil Sumo, The Terrible Oni, Flamethrowing Cat, and The Shopkeeper.
- If you manage to Capture some parts of the level in LBP1 or 2 the gwame will say that the saved object was originally made by “MM_MilkyJoe”.
